We are two brothers—born and raised in New Orleans, now living in Los Angeles, with some time in Texas in between—who make striking and cathartic alternative rock for the modern age. We combine everything we love and feel into our sound to make music that transports you to another reality.

WHAT IS A KNIFE?

A blade plus a handle? An instrument, a tool, a weapon that can pierce skin or catch light? Well, no, actually, that’s not a knife. This is—

A person who feels deeply. Someone who always wants more. Who cares and who seeks and who questions and wants, wants with their whole body, heart, and soul. It’s not someone who is okay with the surface. A knife wants to cut through reality to see what’s behind it all.

You, you COULD BE a knife. Just listen. Listen deep, deep down inside. All the way to the bottom of your blood, your bones. Then ask the question, the only question there really, truly is: am I a knife? am I? am I? And if the answer is Yes, a resounding Yes, then what comes next is quite simple. Welcome. We welcome you. In today’s world, we must fight for there to be more than the virtual. Sure, there is a place for screens, how they can connect us in a way. Isn’t that how you got here? The glow and THE flicker and the ability to feel that you can change what’s before you on a dime. 

But it’s not real.

When you look up, the world is still where you left it. YOU WISH IT CHANGED, YOU WISH SOMEHOW IT HAD, YET IT HASN’T.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

There is another path. The lost beauty, the lost art of just holding something else in your hands. That you can touch and feel, the power slowly growing in your fingertips.
